To my mind, there are two ways you can solve a puzzle: the traditional way, and the computer way. The traditional way involves you going out and purchasing a puzzle. When you get that puzzle home, you break open the box, take out all the pieces, and start putting them together. You can get your significant other to help you out and join in the fun.

The computer way is somewhat similar, just that you don’t go anywhere – you just put your computer to good use. What you do is you download a puzzle game, install it, then start having fun. You don’t have to worry about losing puzzle pieces as everything is stored on your computer.

The KraiSoft Entertainment-developed Jigsaw Puzzle Lite is such a game. You can download it off the web (should take very little time), install it on your Windows-powered PC (should take little time as well), then play it for as long as you want. This application is freeware, which means you can enjoy Jigsaw Puzzle Lite for as long as you want and you don’t have to part with your hard earned money.

Speaking of enjoying the game, there are several things you will like about Jigsaw Puzzle Lite. The game comes with expanding side-boxes; in these boxes you can put the puzzle parts you assembled, parts that you don’t know where they fit just yet. To help you more easily solve the puzzle, Jigsaw Puzzle Lite can put a ghost image in the background or it can display a thumbnail image of the completed puzzle.

Do you have a picture of your favorite place in the world? Do you have a picture of your pet? Of course you do; and since you do, you can use Jigsaw Puzzle Lite to turn that picture into a puzzle. The puzzle you create from one of your pictures can be made from as many pieces as you want.
